HAMPTONIANS UNITED...BUILDING A FUTURE TOGETHER
On behalf of Dorothy M. Lee-Murray, President of the National Hampton Alumni Association, Incorporated (NHAA, Inc.) and Hamptonians around the globe, we are tremendously honored to welcome you to the Home Page for the 13th Biennial Convention hosted by the NHAA, Inc. Hamptonians, along with their families and friends, will gather from August 2 - 5, 2018 in the magnificence of Chicago, one of the world’s greatest cities, to commemorate the essence of being a Hamptonian. Focused on the dynamic theme Celebrating Our Legacy: 140 Years of Alumni Involvement ~ 150 years of An Education for Life, we acknowledge the birth of our Beloved Home by the Sea and the enduring dedication of our illustrious alumni as we gather for this record setting Biennial.
Convention highlights include the installation of the 2018 - 2020 officers of the NHAA, Inc. during the President’s reception; honoring special accomplishments during the Anne Laura Roberts Wims Awards Luncheon; and learning during the diversity of the planned workshops such as Estate Planning/Financial Management, Alumni Giving, Alumni Chapter Development, Student Recruitment, and Practical Uses of Advancements in Technology. President William R. Harvey is invited to present the State of the University. Additionally, participants will receive an update on alumni involvement, witness a spellbinding alumni choir concert, and more. Alumni and guests will enjoy the convention and all that the Chicago summer has to offer from the Magnificent Mile, Willis Tower, Millennium Park, Navy Pier, and maybe see the hit play, Hamilton. Help NHAA, Inc. continue to make history while you and your family enjoy the best that Chicago has to offer and perhaps make Chicago your kind of town.
