Dear Alumni, Family and Friends of Hampton,

Exciting things are happening at Hampton University and within the National Hampton Alumni Association (NHAA), Inc.  As Hampton University celebrates the 150th anniversary of the founding of the university and the 40th anniversary of President Dr. William R. Harvey, NHAA is excited to celebrate 140 years of alumni involvement. These are major milestones for Hampton University and for NHAA. We are proud of Hampton’s many accomplishments and NHAA works tirelessly to maintain strong alumni communication and provide scholarships to deserving students.

Currently, NHAA is planning its 13th Biennial Convention for August 2 – 5, 2018 in Chicago, Illinois. The convention is convened every two years to provide all alumni information regarding the work of the alumni association and the state of the university. This year, our convention theme is Celebrating Our Legacy: 140 Years of Alumni Involvement ~ 150 Years of An Education for Life.

Today, we are seeking your support and asking you to consider purchasing an ad for the Biennial Convention souvenir journal. We have provided you with several advertisement options. In addition to the page options, consider placing a memorial remembrance or a congratulatory message to alumni or recent graduates. We are looking for support from all classes, Greek Organizations, and individual alumni as well as family and friends.

Please reach out to local businesses and have them purchase a page, place a business card ad or be a sponsor in our journal. An ad contract has been enclosed for your convenience. Download the contract to e-mail to family, friends and business associates. Remember – the deadline for the ad contract is July 10, 2018.
Your support of our alma mater and the Biennial Convention is greatly appreciated!
In the Hampton Spirit,

Lani P. Shaw
